Global underwear empire, Andrew Christian, has just partnered up with up and coming Australian gay pop singer songwriter, TIN for the holiday season.
The two come together in celebration of TIN’s latest music video release titled Don’t Say His Name by hosting a competition aptly titled #whatishisname?, where entrants must guess the name of the person that the song is about. “Similar to how Britney Spears’ If You Seek Amy sounds like “F-U-C-K me”, you can hear their name in the song. I thought it would be a nice bit of irony considering the song is called Don’t Say His Name.”
The winner will be announced on New Years Day, receiving two pairs of Andrew Christian underwear and a mystery accessory, ready to bring in 2019! The music video has TIN donning a pair of Andrew Christian underwear and has been described as “ultra homoerotic soft-core porn”, reflecting the song’s sentiment of sleeping with someone while thinking of someone else. It tells a story of TIN’s struggle after a failed Grindr date and does so in a very NSFW manner.
“The music video and song have both had incredibly supportive feedback and I am so excited and honoured that I get to collaborate with a recognised brand that I have always been a fan of. I’ve had several friends attempt to hear the name to no avail so hopefully someone can hear what it is!”
The #whatishisname competition commences 01/12/18 and winner is announced on 01/01/2019 and can be entered on either Andrew Christian or TIN’s Facebook pages at www.facebook.com/andrewchristianinc or www.facebook.com/tinofficialmusic.
Don’t Say His Name is out now on Spotify and Apple Music and the music video is now on YouTube.
